Twas the night before Halloween...

Twas the night before halloween, and all through the streets,
not one goblin was hunting for those sweet festive treats,
The strobe lights were off and the house lights were dim,
for tomorrow is the day we let the trick-or-treating begin.

Kelly has no costume and hasn't given much thought,
Tamra looked for a broom but she found a cot,
of all the ideas running through her head,
she promised she'd find something before she went to bed.

Here it is now,  just before 9,
FunCity Costumes almost closed,
but she made it, just in time.
She's glad she found something that makes her look crazy,
just one day she doesn't have to be a pretty young lady.

Now that she's set she turns to her love,
"get your tool belt, your boots, and some gloves!"
As the pre-rehearsal continues with expressions of glee,
they realize they're losers and know of NO party!

Cute poem. :)

There must be some sort of singles activity going on...or at least one of Travis's parties. "All dressed up and no place to go" isn't supposed to set in until *after* the wedding.
